
Leslie Mead, Certified Orthotist (C.O. (c)),
graduated from the GBC clinical methods in
P&O program in 2004 and has since practiced at a London area private
orthotics facility. Leslie’s
experience includes pediatric orthotics, custom spinal bracing for scoliosis and
trauma, plagiocephaly helmets, foot orthotics, and leg and arm braces.
Daniel Mead, Certified Prosthetist
(C.P.(c)),
graduated from the GBC clinical methods in
P&O program in 2005 and has since practiced at Hamilton Health Sciences,
Chedoke Site in the P&O Dept. Dan
spent his time at HHS as a member of the amputee rehabilitation team providing
preparatory prostheses to new amputees
of all levels as in-patients, and also saw outpatients
on a regular basis. His experience also includes pediatric prosthetics,
microprocessor controlled knees for trans-femoral prostheses, elevated vacuum
& 3S suspension, myoelectric prosthetics, partial foot prosthetics, and
body-powered upper extremity prosthetics.
Both Dan and Leslie are new to the greater Sudbury area and are keen to develop strong working relationships with
health care professionals in these areas whom are involved in the treatment of
prosthetic and orthotic patients. If you are a patient who is interested in up
to date technology, specialized P&O treatment and timely service, we would
